Course Memo

An introductory course in statistics designed for the nursing student and medical field practitioner. The course uses examples and application relevant to the health sciences. Topics include descriptive statistics, frequency distributions, measures of central tendency, variability, correlation and regression, hypothesis testing, and analysis of variance. Computer applications of statistical analysis are also presented. Prerequisite: One year of secondary school algebra or college level equivalent

Class will meet the following days: Jan. 26-27, Feb. 2-3, Feb. 9-10, Feb. 16-17 Friday (5pm-8pm)/Saturday (8am-5pm)
